Few people remember (or know) that the first full -length in the directorial career of Zach Snyder was the film Dawn of the Dead (2004). It is interesting that this film could be released back in 2020, just when the producers gave the “green light” to produce the directorial version of the “Justice League”. But because of the scandal with one of the actors, some of the scenes had to be reached. Therefore, the film was released in 2021 immediately after the League, and, perhaps, it was for the better: “The Ts of Justice League Snyder” was a good film and returned faith in the director, but “Army of the Dead” ...

The tie at the film is classic. The US military transported in a container infected with a dangerous virus of a dead man, who, apparently, regularly visited the gym. It takes some time, the government is preparing to drop a nuclear bomb on the city (why not dropped on the first day-do not ask: then there would be no film), some desperate, penetrating Vegas appeared to take out money and other useful things from there. The owner of one of the Vegassian casinos turns to the former military mercenary Scott Ward, who lived in Vegas, and during the epidemic along with several colleagues in the workshop, he evacuated several civilians from the city, including his own daughter. The owner of the casino has already received insurance for lost money, but he is not enough, so he asks Ward to assemble his suicide squad, get to Vegas, to the same casino, to take $ 200 million from the storage and bring the owner.
